David G. Halverson, 38, of Indianola , Iowa (formerly of Norwalk) died on 10/21/2021. David was the son of Caprice Halverson. He was born in Des Moines and went to school in Norwalk. He attended college in Tampa, Florida for graphic arts. He returned to Norwalk after graduating college to be near his family. He initially could not find a job in his field. So he decided to go into the electrician trade. And he loved it. He got married and had a daughter. Then he tried for a job at Baker Group in the office in which he could finally use his college degree. He got the job as an Electrical Detailing Team Lead and was always very proud of the work that he did there. He also really enjoyed the people he worked with there. David loved spending time with his friends, musky fishing, wood carving, skateboarding, playing dj music. He was an artist and talented in many things.
He is survived by his daughter, Gabrielle Halverson of Indianola, his mother, Caprice Halverson, of Norwalk, grandmother, Francoise Halverson of Norwalk and an uncle, Erick Halverson of Claremore, Oklahoma. He was proceeded in death by his grandfather, LaVern Halverson, an aunt, Therese Halverson, and an uncle Phillip Halverson.
A visitation with the family will be held on November 3, 2021, Wednesday 6-8 pm at Sunset Memorial Chapel, 7601 Fleur Drive, Des Moines, IA 50321.
