Harold William Wessel, Jr., 50, passed away at the Taylor House on September 30, 2020.
Harold was born on February 17, 1970 in Des Moines to Donald and Madeline (Wessel) Doll. He was raised by Harold, Sr. and Vivian (Lee) Wessel. He was a lifelong resident of Des Moines and attended High School in Des Moines. He was a member of the IBEW Local 347, and he enjoyed socializing with family, grilling and fishing.
He is survived by his children, Trisha Howe & Thomas (Jessica) Howe; siblings, Renee (Jerry) Virden, Charles Wessel and Patrick Wessel; grandchildren, Kaleah, Trey, Nevaeh, Emma, Aviana, Elyjha, Mariah and Aubrey, and a host of extended family and friends.
Visitation will be from noon until 2:00 pm on Tuesday, October 6, 2020 at the Brooks South Town Chapel located at the Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Burial will be in the Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Memorial Contributions may be directed to the family in loving memory of Harold.
