Sharon Martin 79, of Des Moines, Iowa passed away at home on Monday September 7, 2020 with her husband by her side.
Sharon K. Kness was born in Guthrie Center, Iowa on June 9, 1941; she was the daughter of Kenneth and Helen (Schrader) Kness; she attended school in the area of her birth. She was united in marriage to Donald Foust and was blessed with two sons, Terry and Kelley. After Don passed away Sharon was united in marriage to Delbert Martin on June 9, 2001, bringing a daughter, Delann to this union. Sharon had worked and retired from Guide One formerly Preferred Risk Insurance Company in Des Moines. She loved antiques, collecting cows and milk bottles. Sharon was a member of the Grace Baptist Church.
Left to cherish her memory is her husband of 19 years, Delbert, sons, Terry(Stacy) Foust and Kelley Foust, step-daughter, Delann Martin, grandchildren, Taylor and Madison Foust.
In death Sharon rejoins parents, Kenneth and Helen Kness and husband Donald.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, September 11, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. at Grace Baptist Church, 112 County Line Road, Des Moines, Iowa. Visitation will be one-hour prior at 10:00 until service time at 11:00 a.m. also at Grace Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Grace Baptist Church Line Road, Des Moines, Iowa 50320.
