Stephanie Porter – Abbott, 33, died unexpectedly on July 30, 2024, at her home in Des Moines. She was born January 26, 1991, to Joseph and Robin (Beougher) Porter in Des Moines, Iowa.
Stephanie (Stubby) was a loving and caring friend. If you were her friend, you were part of her family as well.
In March of 2023 Stephanie married David Abbott. She had three sons Connor, Joseph, and Michael. She loved spending time with her family and friends. One of her favorite things to do was watch Joe race his stock car.
She worked for the Department of Human Services certifying Physicians for Medicare and Medicaid.
She was predeceased by her father, Joseph, paternal and maternal grandparents, and her favorite aunt Annie.
She is survived by her husband, David, sons, Connor, Joseph and Michael, mother, Robin, and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends all that loved her and will miss her greatly.
Memorials may be given to the family to use at their discretion.
