Verna Hutt, age 77, passed away on Friday, April 5, 2024. She was born on March 23, 1945 to parents Lois and Vernon.
Verna loved to ride and train Arabian horses. Since she was a little girl, she always owned a horse. She knew how to ride since she was 2 years old. She spent a lot of her time camping and riding with her husband of 22 years Bob Hutt. She loved to work; she was always cleaning around the house. Loved going to flea markets. She was a collector of anything Coca Cola and turquoise jewelry. She was a country girl at heart.
Verna Hutt is survived by her husband, Bob Hutt; two children, Trevor Schmidt and Penny Vandercamp.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 13, 2024, at 1:00 pm at Sunset Memorial Chapel, 7601 Fleur Drive, Des Moines, Iowa with a burial to follow at 1:30 pm.
